Half Moon Bay says... Worth buying for Ralphers stunning 'Thunderbuck Ram' and Buffins squeaky bass-drum pedal in 'I Can Feel' alone. Unlike the debut album, they didn't have to put any cover versions on this record.

I feel I should say more, but all I can add is that there is not one track even managing to come close to being duff or just a filler. A fine spread of material and essential to your Mott the Hoople collection — or your classic rock collection, even. Truly tremendous stuff.

Now fabulously remastered, attractively repackaged (with sleeve notes from 'Two Miles from Heaven' Editor Keith Smith) with bonus tracks making the re-release by Angel Air the version of this album to buy.

Read this great review of the album from Head Heritage (Julian Cope)
